Ribbits?

I had a dentist appointment this morning, so Reese stayed in bed with Daddy, watching cartoons. She heard me come home and came running out of the bedroom saying, "Ribbits, Mommy, ribbits." As I was trying to figure out what she was talking about, she ran to the TV in the livingroom, pointing, and saying, "Ribbits! Ribbits!" So, I turned on the TV, and put her cartoon station on. I figured there would be a frog on the screen or something, but lo and behold, it was a cartoon called The Wonder Pets.

So, Reese wasn't saying Ribbits, she was saying Wonder Pets! Oh, geez - how does she know that?! She's getting too smart for her own good. The sad part is, she knows Dora, Diego, Spongebob, and the Backyardigans. Every time one of these shows comes on, she yells the name of it! Ugh - cartoons!

Another funny Reese-ism happened last night. I have a Santa cookies and milk tray set out, and she grabbed the mug, filled it with some of my pop, and said, "Look, Mom - coffee." WHAT?! Oh my goodness. I have no idea where she learns this stuff. She's a little brainiac, I tell ya!
