She's finally moved into her big girl bed and is doing really well potty training. The day she finally used to toilet was quite an interesting day. After her bath later that night, she informed me she had to use the potty. I told her to go ahead and go, as I was in the middle of putting laundry away. She returned to my room without a word, and began jumping on my bed. Suddenly, I smelled an awful smell. I thought, 'where is that poop coming from?!' I looked up to see Reese somewhat covered in poop, along with my clean clothes and bedspread. Turns out, she went #2 in the potty, didn't tell me, and proceeded to jump on my bed with a dirty butt. So, needless to say, she needed ANOTHER bath and I had lots of laundry to rewash! All I could do was laugh. Oh, man - what a day.
She also knows most her colors and alphabet, and can count to ten with you. Her favorite song to sing is Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. It's the most adorable freaking thing you've ever heard. She sings "Twinkle, twinkle Staaaaaar" in the softest voice. I never knew she could be that quiet about anything! She's definitely got a singing voice - thank goodness! She's also a little drummer. Davie taught her how to play, and she goes to town on her drum set. She also loves to play her guitar and piano. When we were at Nicolas' Baptism, Mom kept her occupied on a full size piano for quite some time. She was very amused by it. She's my little Rockstar. She's also infatuated with the moon and stars. She has a moon in her room, stars on her ceiling, and has to see the real moon every night. I think she'll be an astronaut when she grows up.
She's also in love with Nemo. She watches it EVERYDAY, carries her Nemo blanket around, and sleeps with her Nemo doll every night. She even has 2 real Nemo's (she named them both Nemo) on her dresser. Of course, I feed them everyday! But, she's definitely obsessed. She also loves Dora (of course!) and has a full size Dora doll that she also sleeps with every night. She saw it in the store and was hugging and kissing her, so of course Uncle Davie and Aunt Kelly had to go buy it for her. I swear, this kid is so spoiled, it's pathetic. She does not go without! Well, we had her 2-year pictures taken. She loves to "smile pretty" which you will see is the corniest, cheesiest, fakest smile ever. But, it's funny to watch! Happy 2nd Birthday, baby girl. We love you!!
