Dora!

Playing with Nemo

Opening her Princess gift

She finally loves balloons!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And, then came her "real" birthday party. We celebrated that today, November 11th, with a Dora the Explorer themed party. All of her friends and family came over, and she had such a good time! She has so much fun with all of the kids, I just wish she could play with them all more often. She spent the day with Evelyn, Dillon, Owen, Mollie, Blake, and Cole, running through the house, and making a disaster of the playroom. It's so worth it to see her have so much fun, though. I think she has more friends than I do....
Once the cake came out, she really didn't know what to do. You can really tell she doesn't like all the attention on her (which is odd), because she got all nervous and started picking her nose when we sang "Happy Birthday" to her.
Not really sure what that face is!
Blowing out the candles
Completely confused!
Getting some frosting
She just had no idea what to do! Even when it was time to open presents, she just wanted to keep playing instead. Silly girl!
Trying to escape!
Help from Grandma!
What is it?
These kids could not wait to open the BIG GIFT!!
All 5 of them were tearing it open!
This child is beyond spoiled. I swear, my house looked like it was Christmas morning. Let's just say that she's very loved!! She got so much Dora stuff - dolls, books, a DVD, 2 cell phones, a purse, jewelry and hair ties - you name it. She also got a kitchen, pots and pans, an inchworm ride-on, a dollhouse, a hand-made cradle with hand-made bedding and a blanket for her that matches, a princess doll, a Barbie doll and clothes, puzzles, Elmo, a laptop, a Nemo book and doll, Dora PJs, and TONS of clothes. And, then, when we thought it was all over, Uncle Davie walked in the door with a Princess tricycle! Boy-oh-boy, does this kid have it made! She is just beyond spoiled.
SPOILED ROTTEN!
"I just don't know what to do with all these toys!"
I can say that she did really well with all the commotion! She was pretty good about sharing her toys, even the new ones! I think she's just happy to have kids to play with. After everyone left, she and Dillon turned into two little connivers. They were running through the house stealing each other's toys, and then turning it into a game of tag! At one point, they ran into Reese's bedroom, and all we could hear was two little babies laughing their head's off. I went to see what they were doing and they slammed the door shut on me! I swear, they are like Bonnie and Clyde! Oh, what does the future have in store for us?!
Apparently, Dillon found Reese's jumping quite hilarious!
Being silly on Reese's "big girl" bed
Oh, and Evelyn enjoyed wearing Reese's fake hair all day!
"I'm too sexy for my hair!"
It's always the Dollar Store toys they love the most!
Well, after a VERY LONG DAY, Reese and I cuddled in her bed and watched her new Dora video. Her babies (all of them!) slept comfortably in their new cradle that had to sit right next to Reese's bed. And, after about 10 minutes, Reese was sound asleep, cuddled up in her new Dora blanket. Oh, what a day!
Happy 2nd Birthday, Reese!
We all love you, Big Girl.
We all love you, Big Girl.
P.S. We missed you EJo!
Now see? This is SOOO much better than emails that get lost, or can't open, whatever. We read the whole thing (and actually forgot about how much stuff we've been up to?)
Keep 'em coming, Kelly really likes it 'cause I always forget to show her the emails pics!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, REESEY!!!
